It’s just a regular, simple day
No big deals or festive plays
Time to shift through this and that
Time to ponder, rest, and chat.
Time to move with patient nods
Into plans for home and God.
Time for tea for you and me
Time to rest and simply be.

I think it's interesting that these words came to me after the month of December, which is a highlight of the year for church musicians! When it's past we can all use a little ordinariness to the day.
