Opus Magnum

A commentary series on Psalm 139 in haiku poetic form.

I praise you because I am
       fearfully and wonderfully made
   your works are wonderful,
   I know that full well.
Psalm 139:14

Open wide my mouth
Let my heart spill out its praise
Ripe with bursting joy!

For you made me Lord
A wonder of creation,
All people—your work!

It’s true to the very
Zenith of things I may know
Marvelous wonder!

Quote to Ponder . . .
It is humility which has access to the highest regions.
― Augustine of Hippo, The City of God
